The service
From talking past each other to truly hearing
When communication breaks down, small disagreements become big standoffs. Our family sessions bring everyone into the same room — parents, teens, sometimes grandparents — with a neutral counselor keeping the conversation fair, calm and productive.
We work on how your family talks, decides and repairs, so home feels safe for everyone in it.
What's included
Support for every seat at the table
- 60-minute joint sessions with all participating family members
- Individual check-ins so quieter voices — especially teens — are heard
- Practical tools: family meetings, repair scripts and fair-fighting rules
- Parent coaching on boundaries, screen time and school stress
Who it helps
Common reasons families walk through our door
Constant arguing
The same fights on repeat — about chores, money, respect — that never resolve and leave everyone drained.
Big transitions
Divorce, remarriage, a new baby, relocation or loss — moments that reshuffle every relationship at once.
Worried about a child
Withdrawal, slipping grades, big emotions or risky behavior that signal a young person needs support.
Good to know
Family counseling questions
No. We usually start with everyone present, then mix joint sessions with smaller combinations — parents alone, or a parent and teen — as the plan requires.
Very common, and completely workable. Our counselors are experienced with reluctant teens — silence is welcome at first, and we never force disclosure.
Never. Your counselor is neutral ground — every perspective gets heard fairly, including the ones that are hardest to say out loud at home.
